Torri Wightman died May 16, 2006 in a car accident. It was 11am and she decided to sneak out of school for the first time. She wanted to meet up with friends. It was an adventure that turned into unbearable tragedy resulting from what is alleged to be the speed of the car within which she was just a passenger.
Torri a cautious, but original thinker, expressed multiple facets in just as many ways: art, writing, music, play, design, photography, intuition, comedy, but mostly LOVE. She termed herself on one web page "Deep Complexions," an insightful and accurate summary of herself. This fund is to honor her life and the respect, empathy and deep care she had for others. The wish is for it to continue to surprise us with its growth as Torri always surprised us.
