She gave me a Sign..

I went to Derby Camp and was on Torri's soccer team. I've always remembered one day when it was raining and we were playing on the slide. I remember climbing up it, tripping and her saying my name and laughing. Her laugh always stuck with me. I hadn't really talked to her since when we were little. I was the one who gave you the drawing of her. I saw her picture in the paper and drew it as a sort of release from the shock and sadness.

Anyway, tonight I was just browsing around on myspace and I came upon her music page. It was haunting. I sat at my computer and cried for an hour. I went on her website and watched her videos too. I was laughing and crying at the same time. She was soo funny.

Well, after being drained from the tears and bright computer light, I went outside on my back porch to look at my willow tree and tell her how much she just made me laugh. The sky was bright blue with wispy golden clouds. A flock on geese flew by and at the same time another flock of tiny little birds.

I sat there and wondered, and then started walking, thinking to myself "torri, give me a sign you're up there." And in my head i was actually thinking, "paint a big T in the sky for me"......3 minutes later I looked through the trees and saw it. I got up and there it was...a big distinctively T shaped cloud next to my willow tree. I cried again and thanked her and blew her a kiss.

Certain things like that don't just happen. You're daughter is an angel. She really is watching over you, just like she said in her song. If you'd ever like to talk or cry or anything... I havent done it in years but I'd be happy to go to church with you or visit her grave anytime.
stay strong
love,
Tara
