Lucy, i just was looking at Torris web site and saw the Dont ever forget page. Good for you ,how brave of you to show all how brutal and raw this all is. These kids need to understand they are driving a lethal weapon. drivers ed does NOT teach them this. most parents dont teach them that either.most parents just shove them out the door and are glad they are out of their hair. believe me i know i have taken in many kids,mostly in summer when parents dont want to be bothered.and these are wonderful kids!!! the world is so screwed up!! My 21 year old waited until the age of 18 and said it saved lives after losing 8 friends in cars and what a brutal way to learn. My other child will not get a license til age 18 and i feel there is enough maturity and respect. my thoughts will be with you tomorrow at 3:00. God love you and ease some of your suffering.thank you for voicing what is sooo brutal, maybe it will save a few. You will not get any negative notes from me. You speak the truth, no matter how blunt. Ive seen the nasty comments...and it seems that the brutal truth is too much for them. I thought how people can be so cruel, so selfish. these people have no right to be angry at you. You on the other hand have every right to feel angry,lost,hurt,raw at all this. None of it is right. No one needs tell another how to grieve. Dont overwhelm yourself.Do try and take it slow.
